About the Minnesota Dunk Squad
A team of athletes dedicated to pushing the limits of dunking through training, performing, and growing the sport in Minnesota and beyond.
Our Story
The Minnesota Dunk Squad started as a simple idea: bring dunkers together in Minnesota to train, improve, and have fun doing it. Founded by Dylan Haugen, a professional dunker and content creator from the Twin Cities, what began as informal training sessions quickly grew into something much bigger.
Today, the squad includes 12+ athletes ranging from teenagers to experienced competitors, all united by their passion for dunking. Members come from cities across the state—Blaine, Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Farmington, Marshall, and beyond—and even from neighboring states like Wisconsin.
Our group chat stays active daily, our weekly sessions push everyone to improve, and our performances bring the energy of professional dunking to communities that have never experienced it live.
What We Stand For
The values that drive the Minnesota Dunk Squad every day.
Community First
We believe dunking is better together. Our open environment welcomes dunkers of all skill levels to learn, train, and grow alongside each other. No egos, just progress.
Constant Improvement
Every session, every week, every month—we push each other to get better. Whether it’s adding an inch to your vertical or landing a new dunk variation, growth never stops.
Growing the Sport
Dunking deserves to be a recognized sport. Through performances, social media, contests, and community engagement, we’re working to put Minnesota dunking on the map.
