Jordan Horn, who runs the Twenty3 League, hit Dylan up about putting on a dunk contest for his league. Dylan ran with it and recruited his whole Minnesota Dunk Squad to come compete, turning a league contest into a full squad showdown.
Dylan Haugen, Gideon Scheeler, Christian Ferguson, Justin Blanchard, and Jalen Miller all threw down, and the whole crew went off. It came down to Dylan and Gideon, who both posted a 99 out of 100 in the second round, forcing a sudden-death tiebreaker to settle it.
Dylan’s run featured a Dubble Up over two people, a 360 cuff windmill, and a Dubble Up X, plus the inverted scorpion over a person, the first time he had ever landed it in a contest. Then, in sudden death, he pulled out the Dubble Up Elbow to take the win, a dunk he called the best he has ever done.
